CNC Performance
Homeschool PE · Sage Oak families

PE credit, earned on the turf.

CNC Performance works with Sage Oak Charter School families as a community provider, so homeschool students in the Inland Empire can meet their PE requirement through real, coached athletic training instead of a worksheet.

Why families choose it

Real coaching. Real minutes. A kid who wants to go.

  • Coached, not supervised

A former college athlete runs every session. Technique, effort and progress are coached, every rep.

  • Counts toward PE

Sessions are structured physical education your teacher can log against the state minute requirement.

  • Built for the school day

Daytime availability that fits around a homeschool schedule instead of fighting it.

  • Any sport, or no sport

Speed, strength and agility for competitive athletes, or fitness and confidence for kids who just need to move.

How it works

Four steps from enrolled to training.

  1. 01

Talk to your Sage Oak teacher

Tell your teacher you want to use CNC Performance for PE. They confirm it fits your student's learning plan and set up the purchase order through the school.

  2. 02

    We build the schedule

Sessions run at our Colton facility on a schedule that works around your school day. Tell us your student's sport, age and goals and we take it from there.

  3. 03

    Train, and it counts

Every coached session is real physical education: speed, strength, agility, conditioning and the habits that come with them. Your teacher logs the minutes toward the PE requirement.

  4. 04

    Keep going in summer

School funding pauses over summer. Families who want to keep the momentum can continue on a private plan, so the athlete never has to start over in the fall.

Good to know: CNC Performance is an independent training business, not a school. Whether sessions count toward PE, and how, is decided by your charter school and its credentialed teacher. We are happy to talk with them directly.
Questions

What parents ask first.

Does CNC Performance give my student PE credit?

No vendor can. PE credit is determined and granted by your charter school and its credentialed teacher. What we provide is coached, structured physical education that your Sage Oak teacher can approve and count toward the requirement. That is how the community provider model works for every vendor in California.

How much PE does California actually require?

State law sets a minimum of 200 minutes every ten school days for grades 1 through 6, and 400 minutes every ten school days for grades 7 through 12. Independent-study students, including charter homeschoolers, have to meet it too. Two or three coached sessions a week at CNC covers a large share of that on its own.

Who pays for the training?

During the school year, Sage Oak can pay CNC directly through a purchase order issued by your teacher, using your student’s instructional funds. Ask your teacher what is available for your family. Over summer, families continue privately if they choose to.

What ages do you work with?

We coach youth and high-school athletes. Programming is scaled to the athlete’s age and development, so a ten-year-old and a sixteen-year-old are never doing the same session. Tell us your student’s age on the contact form and we will let you know what a session looks like for them.

My student isn't an athlete. Is this still a fit?

Yes. Plenty of homeschool students come to us for fitness, coordination and confidence rather than a sport. The six pillars we coach, from commitment to mental health, apply to every kid, not just the ones chasing a scholarship.

We're with a different charter. Can we still use CNC?

Ask us. Many independent-study charters in San Bernardino and Riverside counties use a similar community provider model. Get in touch and tell us which school you are enrolled with, and we will tell you what is possible.
